Birthday Rei

Today was my 25th Birthday and my first official blog entry.. I worked on a drawing of Rei celebrating my Birthday, I always thought she would be so cute with a little birthday hat haha! At first I thought about drawing her with her plugsuit on.. but I wanted it to be a bit more casual feeling.. so I went with her school outfit, I'm fairly happy with how it came out!

Some things I learned while working on this:
- I REALLY need to work on my line art/learn how to paint out lines better
- I could do eyelashes a lot better, I think I need to start with a thinner base perhaps?
- Shading white is hard
- Hair could be done better, I just need to figure out how to do it..
